We decided to go a non-traditional route for our wedding. We wanted our ceremony to be intimate and private and celebrate with our loved ones at a later date. This allowed us to plan a unique belated reception to be able to bring our loved ones together to honor our marriage. We will be hosting a “Breakfast for Dinner” Party in Downtown St. Petersburg on December 9th, 2023. We hope that you can make it and celebrate with us!
Luke and Shelby met back in late 2019 just before the pandemic hit. When Covid struck they spent months hiding out in their apartments bonding over their shared interests in video games and tv shows…
We know most of our families are coming from out of town so we wanted to provide some suggestions for things to do and great places to stay in the Tampa Bay area.
On May 12th at 1pm, Luke and Shelby sealed their love with a kiss, french fries and a special unity sauce. They chose Harry P. Leu Gardens as their venue because it was where they had their first valentines date back in 2020. On the day of their wedding, the garden had a special dinosaur exhibit where America’s largest collection of traveling life sized dinosaurs were being displayed. They took this very seriously with a post ceremony bride and groom prehistoric photoshoot.
With the help of two of their closest friends, they had a special little ring pupper and a ceremony like no other. They chose to stand together hand and hand and take two sauces, Ranch and Hot Sauce and blend them together to make one special unity sauce. After the ceremony and the fun dinosaur photo shoot, they all headed to Five Guys for a “Burger Cutting” to dip in their sauce.
We hope you enjoy the photos of our special day as much as we do!

Sunshine City is where Luke and Shelby have spent most of their days together. From the crisp weather to the smiling faces, nothing feels quite like home more than the heart of St. Pete. They have become so close with the community that they have become regulars at local shops. They love to take long walks on the pier and take their dog Daisy to the parks and beaches. St. Pete is one of the top ten places to live and most dog friendly city in America. They chose Morean Arts Center Chihuly Collection for their venue. It is located on Central Ave. St. Pete and is a stunning, permanent collection of world-renowned artist Dale Chihuly’s unique artwork. A pioneer of the studio glass movement, Chihuly is known for creating glass art, sculptures and environmental art. This gallery is close to their heart because they often pass by it when in St. Pete.
